The International Detailing Association hosts a series of webinar presentations covering a variety of topics to help improve the knowledge and ability of IDA Members and Non-Members from the comfort of a home or office computer or any mobile device! The webinars take place on the third Thursday of the month.

IDA Webinar: Paint Correction: Why, When, and How to Sand

Speaker Bio:
Ilya Veremyev has been detailing for over 9 years. He has worked for a chemical manufacturer specializing in ceramic, as well as currently working for RUPES USA the past 2 years as a Field Test Engineer primarily focused on product development. He has also been training paint correction for 5 years on all surfaces ranging from Show Cars to Aersopace, as well as marine and industrial surfaces. His life is detailing and his goal is to learn and absorb as much as possible to help push and better this industry.

Session Description:
The skill of sanding is an important aspect of paint correction. From safety to efficiency, sanding may be the best approach for your circumstance. Learn about the types of sandpaper, the importance of grit and orbit size, and the basics of proper application. Hand sanding will be covered; however, the main focus will be DA sanding.

Certified Detailers - Attending a webinar earns Certified Detailers 1 credit towards certification maintenance. You must check-in to the live event to earn your credit.

Technology - Registrants will receive access information to stream the webinar via Zoom.

Webinar Recording - If you are unable to attend the live webinar, you will be able to access the webinar recording from IDA I.Q.

Price - Free for members and $25 for non-members. Non-members who join within 30 days of the webinar may apply the registration fee to membership dues* (join the IDA here).
