In 1989, Tuncer “Tunch” Goren began his career with a 15-year span owning several car wash facilities in Los Angeles, California.

During this time, Tunch absorbed extensive hands-on knowledge, and he combined his MSc in Chemistry with his passion for cars to manufacture superior quality products.  After that, Tunch started 3D International.  Now an over-30-year-old company, 3D is sold in more than 50 countries worldwide.  The 3D acronym speaks to the core competency of the company, Detailing Driven Developers.

Tunch is known for having a strong passion for developing products that improve and make more efficient work for detailers.  Notable benchmark products are 3D HD Speed, 3D One, AAT Compounds, and the HD Car Care Line.  Tunch has been obsessive about creating easy-to-use systems and products for detailers and body shops.

Over the years, Tunch has engaged the expertise of several notable names in the industry including Mel Craig, Barry Theal, David Fermani, Mike Phillips, Francisco Mendoza, and Thomas Dekany to name a few.  Tunch worked with these individuals to tap into the energy, mindset, and DNA of active detailers who can contribute valuable insight into the performance needs of products.

Recently, 3D International was merged with Hi-tech Industries to expand its reach and capabilities.

For Tunch’s truly global footprint, significant contributions with innovative products, and his far/wide networking in the detailing industry, Mr. Goren is inducted into the IDA Hall of Fame.
