Dave has had a lasting impact on many of us detailers in the thick of it.  His willingness to always lend a hand and go above and beyond what is expected of him is one of his greatest qualities.  Alongside his brother Bob, he has had a major role in the success of the IDA, oftentimes behind the scenes and without fanfare.  Dave is a wealth of knowledge and is always more than happy to lend that knowledge to his peers and his fans, appearing on multiple podcasts and detailing related shows; he has spread so much knowledge across the industry, and that knowledge is one of the major contributing factors in the continued growth of the industry.  As end-users, he helps detailers understand the chemistry of the products and chemicals we are using to sell our services.  His impact is immeasurable and real.  Dave is one of the most approachable, genuine, and humble people you’ll find in the industry.  Dave has created and improved upon many of today's leading technology; for example, his latest take on a rinseless wash has improved upon the results for detailers and their clients.  He has also taken the Ceramic Coating games to new heights with the release of Legend.

The one constant that is true with Dave Phillips is that he isn't just about pushing and selling products – he genuinely cares about the experience and wellbeing of his customers, and you can tell that always is his top priority.  Dave has been formulating and improving the products we use on a daily basis since the 1980s and yet, to this day, is as passionate and driven about putting together the best products for his customers and making them as affordable as possible in the process.
