Growing up in Lima, Ohio, Bob got involved in the detailing industry in 1978—at the age of 16—painting, restoring, and detailing cars. He's been in the industry 45 years and counting. He’s had a long and successful career with well-known industry companies like Ziebart, Car Brite, Malco, Simoniz, and Niteo Products. He is currently an International Trainer with CarBrite and an IDA Recognized Independent Trainer (RIT). He has spent many years of his career training future detailers and educating detailers on paint—its history, application, correction and restoration techniques, protection, etc. Bob’s paint knowledge and training knowledge is by far one of the best in the world today. He’s helped so many detailers and disadvantaged people to gain a better life by learning the trade, and to set up and run a business of their own. His knowledge is vast and he’s truly an inspirational mentor.

Bob was inducted into the Apollo Autobody Hall of Fame and has also been granted a Lifetime Achievement Award from Mobile Tech Expo.
