Introducing the IDA Founder's Endowment Fund!

Wednesday, August 19, 2020   (0 Comments)

On behalf of the IDA Founder's Club, we are excited to announce that 2020 will be the first year that we will accept grant requests from the IDA Founder's Endowment Fund. The fund is made up fully of contributions from this select group of IDA members, specifically set aside to help organizations further detailing education and training for future detailers.

The Founder’s Endowment Fund may disburse up to $5,000 USD each year to approved applicants. Examples of projects/programs that would be eligible for an Endowment Fund distribution include (but are not limited to) establishing a new education program for future detailers, funding the acquisition of new tools and equipment for a training center, and supporting a charitably run re-education program.

Submissions will be accepted February 1st – October 31st each year. The selected applicants will be announced and presented at the Annual Business and Membership Meeting (in conjunction with MTE Orlando each year). For Endowment requests that are more time-sensitive, exceptions may be made to the approval and fund distribution timeline outlined above.

If you or an organization you know is dedicated to helping educate or train future detailers and could use support getting a new program off the ground, or need new equipment, please login to complete the request for funds and submit it for consideration.

The start of this program is the fulfillment of years of effort and planning, and we could not be more thankful to our Founder's Club members and their efforts in bringing it to fruition. 2020 has been a difficult year for many in detailing, and we hope this program can help bring some relief to worthy recipients.
