There are few individuals in this Industry who have had a bigger impact or touched more lives than Bob Phillips.  Bob is the epitome of all things good in the detail industry.  His willingness to lift others up and his passion to see the industry he loves so much succeed is awe-inspiring.  Bob has spent his career bettering the detailing industry by showing us how a true leader behaves and by opening doors for detailers to join in on some amazing events that are a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.  He has offered support and guidance through many a detailer’s career.  Bob's knowledge of the industry and vision are unmatched; the amount of encouragement he gives to detailers from across the world is truly remarkable.

Bob has been the vision behind the growth of P&S Detail Products and, alongside his brother Dave, he has reinvented the way many of us do business.  By working hand in hand with detailers across the country, they have formulated some truly groundbreaking products and processes that have increased the efficiency and profitability of countless detailers.

Bob was and still is an instrumental part of the success and growth of the IDA.  He has always been willing to host events and incur whatever costs are needed to better the IDA and detailing industry, putting people before profits.  He has hosted numerous IDA Meet and Greets and certification events at his facility.  He has inspired countless others to take an active role in the IDA and the industry and to help and lift up the next generation of detailing professionals.

Bob was one of the first IDA Certified Detailers.  After serving as an active Recognized Independent Trainer (RIT) for many years, he was recently granted RIT Emeritus status.  He has been recognized with multiple IDA Awards including 2017 Detail Supplier of the Year, the 2016 Leadership Award, and the 2014 Outstanding Service Award.

Bob’s contributions to the growth of the IDA, the impact he has had on the whole industry as a friend, mentor, and teacher, and the innovations from a chemical standpoint with his company, are all Hall of Fame worthy.
