The International Detailing Association hosts a series of webinar presentations covering a variety of topics to help improve the knowledge and ability of IDA Members and Non-Members from the comfort of a home or office computer or any mobile device!  The webinars take place on the third Thursday of the month from February to November.

Session Description: Greg Swett will discuss the importance of persistence in advancing your detailing career.

Speaker Bio: Always an entrepreneur, Greg Swett started “mobile detailing” in 1974 when he was 14 years old.  He would take a bucket with soap and a wash mitt and then ride his bike to each client’s home so he could wash their cars in the driveway.  Some of those first customers taught Greg just how they wanted their car cleaned, and at least one “mentor” still brings his vehicles to him some 40 years later!

Greg, with lots of help from longtime friends and associates in the detailing industry, has developed many of the systems, procedures, and specific equipment used today in their shops.  His business is successful primarily because he loves cars and he loves people!  Greg thoroughly enjoys conversing and exchanging experiences with enthusiasts and detailing professionals to help promote and grow the detailing community.

Certified Detailers - Attending a webinar earns Certified Detailers 1 credit towards re-certification.  You must check-in to the live event to earn your credit.

Technology - Attendance will require an internet connection and ability to connect to Zoom.  Test your connection here.  The webinar access information will be released prior to the event.

Cancellation Policy - There is limited space available for each webinar.  If you register but find that you are no longer able to attend the live webinar, please cancel your registration to free up space for others.  Members can always access the webinar recording from the Quick Links menu.  Please note: no refunds or cancellations within 48 hours of the event. 

Price - Free for members and $25 for non-members.  Non-members who join within 30 days of the webinar may apply the registration fee to membership dues* (join the IDA here).
