Not all detailing companies are the same, but just going out and cleaning people’s vehicles does not make you a professional detailer. There are many things to consider when starting a detailing company, or any company for that matter. You want to set it up correctly from the beginning so that you do not have problems later.

Setting up a company and registering it with your state and the federal government is not expensive, and does not take much time. But, it is a necessary part of establishing any business. Without proper registration you will be unable to acquire certain accounts, get proper insurance, and create adequate protection from liability.
