IDA THIRD THURSDAY WEBINAR SERIES

The International Detailing Association hosts a series of webinar presentations covering a variety of topics to help improve the knowledge and ability of IDA Members and Non-Members from the comfort of a home or office computer or any mobile device!  The webinars take place on the third Thursday of the month.

Speaker Bio:
Barry E. Theal is a highly accomplished Automotive Detailing Industry professional with a proven track record of success.  With over 30 years of experience in the industry, he has consistently demonstrated his expertise in Business Development, Training, and Mentoring.  As Chief Executive Officer at SB3 Coatings, he is responsible for new business development and product support.  Before SB3 Coatings, Barry gained valuable experience at Presidential Details, where he started his entrepreneurial journey.

Barry is a veteran of The United States Army.  He is also a member of The Freemasons, where he stays active. 

Outside of his professional life, Barry is passionate about American history and world cultures.  With his dedication to excellence and growth, Barry is a driving force in the automotive detailing industry and is committed to making it a better place by promoting positivity and leadership.

Session Description:
Servant-based leadership is particularly effective in fostering a positive organizational culture, building trust and loyalty among team members, and driving long-term success.  It encourages leaders to view their roles as facilitators of their team's success rather than as authoritative figures, promoting a more inclusive and empowering approach to leadership.

Certified Detailers - Attending a webinar earns Certified Detailers 1 credit towards certification maintenance.  You must check-in to the live event to earn your credit.

Technology - Registrants will receive access information to stream the webinar via YouTube.  Alternatively, the session will also be streamed directly to the IDA members-only Facebook Group (request to join here), and members can watch the stream in the group.  Registration through the IDA website is still highly encouraged for each session.  Certified Detailers are responsible for checking in to the live webinar to receive 1 Certification Maintenance credit.  If you did not register but watch the session in the Facebook Group, you must manually input the credit into your Certification Journal.

Webinar Recording - If you are unable to attend the live webinar, members will be able to access the webinar recording from the archives webpage.

Price - Free for members and $25 for non-members.  Non-members who join within 30 days of the webinar may apply the registration fee to membership dues* (join the IDA here).
