The International Detailing Association is introducing a new series of webinars covering Business Development topics.  Webinars are open to IDA Members and Non-Members alike.  The webinars take place on the first Friday of each month at 2pm Central.

Speaker Bio:
Bud Abraham has been in the car care industry since 1969 as a manufacturer, distributor, operator, and consultant.  He writes on all aspects of detailing for several industry publications and has conducted seminars and training sessions all over the world.  He was the founder and first executive director of the Professional Detailing Association (PDA), the forerunner to the International Detailing Association (IDA), which he established with several other industry leaders and served as its first executive director in 2006.  Now in semi-retirement he continues to write articles on detailing for several industry publications and does consulting to new and existing operators on how to set up a successful detail business and improve existing businesses.

Session Description:
To ensure closing as many potential sales as possible and getting the highest revenue per vehicle detailed involves a "sales process" that you must go through with every customer, even by telephone.  This process allows you to go through the entire vehicle with the customer even when they say, "Oh, I just want a wash and wax."  It is a process that will work with every customer and every vehicle.

Certified Detailers - Attending a webinar earns Certified Detailers 1 credit towards certification maintenance.  You must check-in to the live event to earn your credit.

Technology - Registrants will receive access information to stream the webinar via YouTube.  Alternatively, the session will also be streamed directly to the IDA members-only Facebook Group (request to join here), and members can watch the stream in the group.  Registration through the IDA website is still highly encouraged for each session.  Certified Detailers are responsible for checking in to the live webinar to receive 1 Certification Maintenance credit.  If you did not register but watch the session in the Facebook Group, you must manually input the credit into your Certification Journal.

Webinar Recording - If you are unable to attend the live webinar, members will be able to access the webinar recording from the archives webpage.

Price - Free for members and $25 for non-members.  Non-members who join within 30 days of the webinar may apply the registration fee to membership dues* (join the IDA here).
