IDA Founder's Endowment Fund

The members of the IDA Founder’s Club are the sole stewards of the Founder’s Endowment Fund.  These funds are granted for programs and projects that align with the goal of the Endowment Fund: to further detailing education and training for future detailers.

Congratulations to the 2022 Endowment Recipients!

Funds granted to purchase detailing equipment, such as rotary polishers, orbital polishers, and orbital sanders, for classes for beginners in the industry, allowing increase of class size to five students monthly.

Funds granted for the in-progress building of and the eventual supplying of tools for a new detail training center in Michigan, with the ultimate goal of becoming an IDA Recognized Training Center.

Athens, Greece

Funds granted to provide technical equipment for training seminars and to create technical video-presentations for their detailing school.

Now Accepting Submissions!

The Founder's Endowment Fund grant request form is now open for submissions through October 31, 2022.

The selected applicants will be announced and presented at the Annual Business and Membership Meeting (in conjunction with MTE Orlando each year).  For Endowment requests that are more time-sensitive, exceptions may be made to the approval and fund distribution timeline outlined above.

Examples of projects/programs that would be eligible for an Endowment Fund distribution: establishing a new education program for future detailers, funding the acquisition of new tools and equipment for a training center, supporting a charitably run re-education program.
