Get behind the wheel – the future of the IDA is in your hands!

Dear IDA Members,

Do you want to help steer the future of the International Detailing Association? Are you ready to drive the IDA forward in new and exciting directions? If so, we want you to  apply to serve on the IDA Board of Directors!

Each open seat is for a two-year term beginning January 1, 2023, and running through December 31, 2024.

Self-nominations are welcome and encouraged; you may also nominate a fellow IDA member who meets the below criteria.

To qualify to serve on the IDA Board of Directors, the nominee must:

  • have their current, primary employment be in the car wash & detailing industry and hold a current, paid membership in the IDA;
  • have actively served on an IDA Committee for a minimum of one year within the past five years, and commit to continuing active service on an IDA Committee as a Board Liaison, including attending monthly Committee meetings, moving forward throughout their Board term;
  • commit to attending monthly conference calls with fellow IDA Board members (currently the fourth Monday of the month at 12 noon Central time);
  • agree to attend one annual face-to-face IDA Board meeting at your own expense (2023 will be held on Wednesday, January 25 in Orlando, FL);
  • agree to abide by the “Commitment to Serve” guidelines and the  IDA Code of Ethics.
