It is with a heavy heart that we acknowledge the recent loss of two detailing industry heroes – Christopher (Chris) Evans and Daryl Lyons. As you all know, their contributions to the industry were immense, and the impact they had on our profession cannot be overstated. Chris authored Detailers Dictionary, a book found in thousands of shops across the world, and newly released Detailers Dictionary Volume 2. Daryl founded the Southern Detailers Conference, an event that brought together detailing professionals from around the globe. They were also both active on IDA committees, donating their time and knowledge to the betterment of our organization and profession.
Those who had the fortune of knowing either of these gentlemen were incredibly blessed. They have left an indelible mark on our industry, a legacy that will last for generations of future detailers. Please help us extend heartfelt thoughts and prayers to their families and friends. Chris and Daryl, we love you guys and will greatly miss your caring spirits and contagious smiles.
