IDA Global Survey #5: Watercraft Terminology

Hello IDA Members,
The next terminology survey is here, put forth by the IDA Industry Standards Task Force!
This is our fifth survey, focused fully on watercraft detailing-related terms. The goal of the Industry Standards Task Force is to gather terminology differences within the detailing industry around the world, so that we may have a comprehensive guide
to offer to our members; let's all get on the same page and understand each other better!
To complete the survey, please review the term and the definition and let us know if the term and definition are used as-is in your region, or, if not, give us your alternative term for the given definition and/or alternative definition for the given
term. This is not a test; we are collecting data on understanding and terminology used on a global scale. If you do not use (or know) a specific term for the situation in question, please leave the answer field blank.
Members, check your email for the link to take the survey.
Survey closes Thursday, September 7, 2023.
Have additional global terminology variances to report?
The Industry Standards Task Force has updated the Glossary of Detailing Terms webpage to include alternative terms used regionally and globally for the same definition, but we are
always seeking to improve our content and keep up to date with industry changes. If your country/region utilizes a different term for a defined word/phrase in the glossary, please submit your term variance for review and potential inclusion in the
Glossary of Detailing Terms via the Global Terminology Submission Form.
