The members of the IDA Founder’s Club are the sole stewards of the Founder’s Endowment Fund. These funds are granted for programs and projects that align with the goal of the
Endowment Fund: to further detailing education and training for future detailers.

The Founder's Endowment Fund grant request form is now open for submissions through October 31, 2024.
The selected applicants will be announced and presented at the Annual Business Meeting (in conjunction with Mobile Tech Expo each year). For Endowment requests that are more time-sensitive, exceptions may be made to the approval and fund distribution
timeline outlined above.
Examples of projects/programs that would be eligible for an Endowment Fund distribution: establishing a new education program for future detailers, funding the acquisition of new tools and equipment for a training center, supporting a charitably run re-education program. View past recipients here.

Past Endowment Fund Recipient Sets the Stage for Success

Three years ago, automotive professors Andrew Haney, CD-SV, and Rick Range, CD-SV, ASE Master | L1 and California State Smog Technicians and state license certified instructors, embarked on a mission to enhance the Automotive Technology training program at Bakersfield College (Bakersfield, California, United States) by introducing automotive detailing.
