The International Detailing Association hosts a series of webinar presentations covering a variety of topics to help improve the knowledge and ability of IDA Members and Non-Members from the comfort of a home or office computer or any mobile device!
The webinars take place on the third Thursday of the month from February to November.

Speaker Bios: Jason Rose is widely recognized as one of the preeminent authorities on automotive surface care. His decades of experience as a technician and a trainer who has traveled the world make him a wealth of knowledge for students to soak in. His passion, enthusiasm for technical training, and commitment to excellence are at the heart of each educational experience he leads. When he isn’t leading a world-class RUPES training program, he is hard at work testing and developing new RUPES products. His skills as a trainer and specialist in the industry make his trainings some of the most sought after in the world. Jason’s IDA involvement includes CD, SV, RIT, Founder’s Club Member, former Board Member, Committee Chair of the Membership Committee, and founding/originating Committee Chair of the Chapter Development Committee. He is also an IDA Hall of Fame Class of 2022 inductee. In her role as Technical Specialist, Sarah works on the BigFoot Academy event schedule daily. When she isn’t organizing and assisting with events, she is involved in product testing and quality control projects for RUPES USA. Her extensive background in both automotive and marine detailing gives her a unique perspective and insight that she can use to help students attending courses. Sarah has been a passionate professional detailer for eight years and specializes in marine gelcoat polishing and protection coating preparation. She brings significant expertise, experience, and knowledge to training event topics that include marine gelcoat sanding and machine polishing. Sarah’s IDA involvement includes contributing author for the newsletter and member of the Health and Wellness Taskforce. Session Description: This presentation will be about procedures and techniques for automotive detailers that are seeking to get into offering marine vessel machine polishing. Gelcoat surfaces are not the same as automotive clearcoat. This class will compare the relative differences between car paint polishing and gelcoat polishing.
