Speaker Bios:
Andrew Haney grew up in Utah, Montana, and California.  He has enjoyed a very rewarding career working in the Automotive Technology Industry and is excited to be able to share his experience with students, co-workers, and community members wherever he goes.  He graduated Universal Technical Institute with an AS Degree in Automotive and Diesel Technology in 1994 and has worked in this industry as a technician and in global training, sales, and management positions since 1990.  Andrew is a Master Certified ASE Technician with L1 Advanced Level G1 and C2 ASE endorsements.  He holds multiple BMW, Chrysler, and BOSCH certifications.  He is a California State Certified Smog Instructor, Smog repair technician, and inspector.  Andrew is an IDA Recognized Independent Trainer and holds many other industry certifications not listed here.  He is the Automotive Faculty Director at Bakersfield College; courses he teaches at Bakersfield College are Fundamentals of Automotive, Automotive Electrical and Electronics, Advanced Automotive Electronic Systems, Engine Performance, HVAC, used car reconditioning, and Auto Detailing.

Rick Range grew up in Southern California and immersed himself into the car culture there.  With a love for automobiles, it was a natural transition to go from admiring them to servicing and building them.  Rick is an ASE-certified multiple Master Technician, California State Emissions Repair Technician, and IDA Recognized Independent Trainer with CD-SV and MC designations.  He has over 37 years of experience in automotive service with 15 of those in education.  He is currently completing a bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology with a focus on vehicle electrification at Weber State University in Utah.

Session Description:
Join us for a focused, one-hour webinar designed specifically for automotive detailers who want to enhance their engine bay cleaning and detailing skills.  This concise session will provide you with essential insights and practical techniques and knowledge to achieve exceptional results while minimizing risks and avoiding common pitfalls or expensive repairs.


Certified Detailers - Attending a webinar earns Certified Detailers 1 credit towards certification maintenance.  You must check-in to the live event to earn your credit, which will appear in your Certification Journal.

Technology - Registrants will receive access information to stream the webinar via YouTube.

Webinar Recording - If you are unable to attend the live webinar, members will be able to access the webinar recording from the archives webpage.

Price - Free for members and $25 for non-members.  Non-members who join within 30 days of the webinar may apply the registration fee to membership dues* (join the IDA here).
