Speaker Bios:
Josh Pierce is an accomplished detailer and trainer that holds multiple high level industry accolades including Recognized Independent Trainer with the International Detailing Association and has trained for multiple manufacturers.  He has had his hands on the world's rarest and most exquisite vehicles as part of the Detail Team for Monterey Car Week and has had the honor of working on projects for Jay Leno, Barrett-Jackson, The SEMA Show, and much more.  He has also served as a mentor to many up-and-coming detailers across the world.  In 2024, Josh was awarded the IDA Outstanding Service Award by his peers for his dedication to the betterment of the Detail Industry.

Shad Stoker began his career in the detailing industry over 23 years ago at 18 years old at a car dealership in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Since then, he has worked in and experienced the industry from all angles, working on the training and distribution side for the last nine years, supplying detailers with some of the top brands and training in the detailing industry.  Shad’s love, passion, and knowledge for detailing is rivaled only by that of health and fitness, which he discovered at around the same time in his life.  He is an avid obstacle course racer who competes in some of the biggest races around the United States.  As a member of the IDA Board of Directors and the 2024 IDA President, Shad is dedicated to working to elevate and advance the IDA and the industry to new levels.

Barry Theal is a highly accomplished Automotive Detailing Industry professional with a proven track record of success.  With over 30 years of experience in the industry, he has consistently demonstrated his expertise in Business Development, Training, and Mentoring.  As Chief Executive Officer at SB3 Coatings, he is responsible for new business development and product support.  Before SB3 Coatings, Barry gained valuable experience at Presidential Details, where he started his entrepreneurial journey.  Barry is a veteran of The United States Army.  He is also a member of The Freemasons, where he stays active.  With his dedication to excellence and growth, Barry is a driving force in the automotive detailing industry and is committed to making it a better place by promoting positivity and leadership.

Session Description:
The SEMA Show – held annually in Las Vegas, Nevada, United States – is one of the automotive industry's premier tradeshows, attracting thousands of companies and individuals from around the world.  In this interactive webinar, three IDA leaders will share their experiences and insights gained from this year's show.  They'll cover topics including benefits for attendees (detailers, detailing business owners, and suppliers), how SEMA differs from other industry tradeshows like Mobile Tech Expo, what the IDA's presence was like this year, and a shoutout to the IDA at SEMA sponsors who helped make our activities possible.  They will then open it up to take your questions!

Certified Detailers - Attending a webinar earns Certified Detailers 1 credit towards certification maintenance.  You must check-in to the live event to earn your credit.

Technology - Registrants will receive access information to stream the webinar via Zoom.

Webinar Recording - If you are unable to attend the live webinar, members will be able to access the webinar recording from the archives webpage.

Price - Free for members and $25 for non-members.  Non-members who join within 30 days of the webinar may apply the registration fee to membership dues* (join the IDA here).
