This program is a culmination of the cooperative efforts of industry leaders specializing in the detailing industry.  The multi-phased program evaluates and develops a detailer’s technical knowledge and proficiency.  Successful completion of the first phase (Phase I), consisting of ten written exams, will grant the detailer the title of IDA Certified Detailer (CD).  Successful completion of a higher-level second phase (Phase II), consisting of hands-on assessments, will award the detailer a title of IDA Certified Detailer, Skills Validated (CD-SV).

Please Note: Before participating in the Skills Validated event, the candidate must have already completed Phase I Certification, having passed the ten written exams, to fulfill the classification of Certified Detailer.

To register, call Virgil Avila at 915-478-2034. Pre-payment and registration is required. Must be an IDA member in good standing.

Space is limited to the first 20 registrants for CD testing and the first 8 registrants for SV testing.

WHAT DOES THE PROGRAM INCLUDE?

Phase I (CD) is a series of ten exams.  Phase II (SV) is a hands-on assessment.  Read more about what each phase of the exam entails on our Certification webpage. A 4-hour seminar on common detailing practices that prepares the Phase I (CD) exam taker to successfully complete the exams.  Both CD and SV exams will be administered and checked on-site.  Candidates who pass the exams will receive a complete set of IDA patches, as well as a temporary certificate.  Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

COST

Phase I (CD):
Members - $275 ($200 will go directly to the IDA; $75 is to cover travel expenses for the trainer.)

Phase II (SV):
Members - $225 ($200 will go directly to the IDA; $25 is to cover travel expenses for the trainer.)
