If you are a member of an IDA Chapter, check with your chapter leadership for chapter-specific committee volunteer opportunities.
CERTIFICATION
The IDA Certification Committee governs the IDA Certification Program, sets guidelines for certification exam materials and processes, and develops and oversees implementation of new certification phases. You must be an IDA Certified
Detailer to volunteer on this committee.
The IDA International Chapter Development Committee works to promote the international chapter program by facilitating the formation of new chapters and optimizing the engagement and results of existing chapters.
The IDA Marketing & Communications Committee oversees communications from the e-newsletter to e-blasts, and both the member-facing and consumer-focused websites. MarComm also develops and administers IDA’s sponsorship and advertising
programs.
The IDA Membership Committee spearheads membership marketing campaigns and member recruitment/retention programs. This committee also assesses and improves existing member benefits and implements new member benefits to meet the needs
of our members.
The IDA Social Media Committee was formed to increase the IDA's social media presence across all platforms. Members of the committee will act as liaisons to other IDA committees. *This committee is currently full.
The IDA Tradeshow/Education Committee facilitates IDA participation at various industry-related trade shows. The Committee also coordinates IDA University at tradeshows and training facilities, as well as development of webinars and
other educational offerings.
Provide a fun networking opportunity for detailing professionals in your local area to share information about the industry and the IDA. It's a great way to build community!
