The International Detailing Association (IDA) allows for the formation of Chapters. Chapters approved by the IDA Board of Directors exercise all the rights and privileges set forth to each chapter of the IDA within the country or geographical area defined by the chapter application.

Chapters applying for formation must meet all requirements indicated in the "How to Form an International IDA Chapter" guidelines and conform to IDA Bylaws, Code of Conduct, and other standards of operation. Potential Chapter leadership should be aware of the duties and responsibilities before accepting an office.
