Trade Shows with the IDA: MTE Orlando and More

To those of you reading this that attended MTE Orlando and stopped by to visit with someone from the IDA, THANK YOU! We always love being able to match names with faces and hear about what you have going on back home with your businesses. A special congratulations to all of the individuals that passed their Certified Detailer exams at the IDA CD-in-a-Day event, the Skills Validated testing, or both CD and SV at MTE Orlando this year. This turned out to be a huge event for the IDA, and all of you have a part in that. 

To give some statistics to those of you that don’t already know, we had 35 detailers achieve their IDA Certified Detailer designation at MTE on Friday, January 31st. We also had 23 detailers attempt and pass their IDA Skills Validated testing on Saturday, February 1st. The turnout for both of these events were a trade show record for the IDA. What an emphatic way to continue proving what the detailing industry is all about. 

Now, my plug for upcoming IDA events – among many events that will happen throughout the course of the year, we would like to see you at a few of the shows listed below:

• Southern Detailers Conference – June 12-14: The Southern Detailers Conference will be taking place in Lexington, KY, and the IDA wants to see you there. Check out their website for a list of exhibitors and events. A few key events that the IDA will be hosting are and IDA Meet and Greet on Friday the 12th, CD testing on the morning of Saturday, June 13th, and SV testing on Sunday, June 14th. Keep an eye on the IDA website for additional information on these events!
• MTE Las Vegas – August 27-29: Yes, MTE Las Vegas is happening again at the South Point Hotel & Casino, and the IDA wants to see you there. Much like MTE Orlando, the IDA will be contributing some shareable knowledge through education seminars, CD testing, and SV testing in the West! Mark this event on your calendar and come show your support as we continue to help grow this event in year two!

Both of these shows will have a major IDA presence, but that doesn’t happen without your support in showing up and participating. I hope to see you there!
