Written By: Jason Rose, CD-SV, RT, and Kenya Williams, CV-SV As we work toward launching this new member resource, we want to: - Invite any interested members who would like to volunteer for the Task Force to email us (info@the-ida.com) with your interest.
- Invite suggestions from you, our members! If you have a particular topic or subject area related to Physical Health or Mental Wellbeing you’d like to know more about or would like to see resources for, let us know by emailing us at info@the-ida.com.
The Health & Wellness Task Force has been created to generate support to members for mental, emotional, and physical wellness. Detailing is a labor-intensive business, and can be hectic and stress-inducing. It can be hard on the body and the mind. And we all have life events that hit us. Some of us have mental health or cognitive issues. Some have physical conditions or limitations. Additionally, external factors such as economic market swings, seasonal cycles, or a global pandemic can really impact anyone’s ability to cope…or better…thrive in the situation. The human condition – how we think, feel, and use our bodies – is not a given. It’s a variable that we can influence positively. And we aim to support each other positively for mental, emotional, and physical wellness. After all, your own health directly affects the health of your business. Our detailing community is healthy when individuals are healthy. Let us know what specific concerns or topics you think the Health & Wellness Task Force should tackle! Or join us as we gather resources and launch programs related to member wellness. IDA Office – info@the-ida.com Kenya Williams - info@ishineforyouautodetailing.com Jason Rose – jasonr@rupesusa.com
