International Detailing Association (IDA): How long have you been with ONYX COATING? 
Ahmad Madi (AM): I have been working with ONYX COATING for more than seven years.

IDA: What type of training does your business offer?
AM: Our organization regularly organizes training sessions for installers and detailers in the USA, Europe, and other parts of the globe to educate and master the techniques and craft of detailing.

IDA: What are some of your company’s attributes that make you stand out in the industry?

IDA: Is there any advice you would give to detailers that may be looking into transitioning to product sales, distribution, or manufacturing?
AM: Our advice to detailers is to focus on learning new skills (for instance installing PPF and Tinting), and ONYX Coating can help any installer interested in getting to know and learn new skills. Our point is detailers must focus on expanding their business by adding additional services.

IDA: What are some of the struggles your company has overcome to get to where it is today?
AM: We worked hard to educate our customers and partners about new technologies and how to choose the right product.

IDA: Why does your company believe it is beneficial to support the IDA?
AM: The IDA is a leading organization helping detailers, manufacturers, and other industry members to connect, which will help to make this industry better and sustainable.

IDA: As a supplier, what changes would you like to see made in the detailing industry?
AM: We would like to see more coordination and special events, where all detailers and manufacturers can meet and discuss the daily challenges and make a roadmap to find proper and sustainable solutions.
