On November 27, Stinger Chemical opened its new, larger training center.
We have been doing training classes out in the field since our inception in 1988, but in 2022, we opened the first Stinger Training Center in Houston, which could accommodate a class of 20. We have been holding classes in both mostly English and Spanish since then.
The new Stinger Training Center has a capacity of 56, five televisions, and monitors around the room that live cast the instructor and what is happening at the front of the classroom — which was an initial challenge with such a large classroom.
Classes are held monthly, usually the third week of the month, consisting of 2 to 6 classes of the ten modules we offer. The Stinger Chemicals training team consists of instructors Daniel Burros, CD-SV, Bruno Carranza, CD, Connor Smith, CD, and Zach Moreno, CD. With a combined 100 plus years in the industry, our goal as instructors is to bring the experience of our training team to the training center in Houston and our distributors and their end users all over the world, in both English and Spanish.
So far, we have also already partnered with Buff and Shine and RUPES in our center, co-hosting trainings that highlight advanced techniques using a combination of our products. It is a unique concept that will continue with all our industry partners, such as The Rag Company, Flex, Eagle Sandpaper, and more!
In July of 2024, we will also be partnering with the upcoming Detailers of the Roundtable training in Fort Morgan, Colorado. This is just the start of a partnership with this new organization that is so passionate about elevating our industry and validating those who put the time and investment into acquiring the skills to push themselves to the 1% of the industry. We are very excited to be a part of this great organization!
