President's Letter – August 2025

Hey IDA Detailers,

With the end of August comes the end of the summer as we usually know it. With many of us well into our plans for the winter period, others see this as the slowest season. I, for one, love this season as it allows opportunity to explore trainings and growth. Not to mention it’s the countdown to MTE! I can’t tell you how much that excites me!!!!

I’m excited to share that the IDA continues to make great progress toward our goals, thanks to the dedication and passion of our global community. More on these goals will be shared in our Q3 Town Hall Meeting. Don’t worry if you can’t make it; you can catch the recording in the webinar library.

One exciting milestone we’re especially looking forward to is the very first International Meet & Greet Week, with events happening all around the world. This will be an incredible opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate our industry together. I can’t wait to see the photos and stories that come from these gatherings! Don’t forget to tag us on your social media feeds!

Don’t forget, if you are attending SEMA, then our Meet and Greet event is on Tuesday evening. Come down and network with fellow industry professionals. Grab a drink, play some games, and, most of all, have a blast!

One last reminder—IDA Awards nominations are open through November 9! The detailing industry is powered by passion, innovation, and excellence—let's celebrate the standouts who make it shine!

With so much happening, it’s safe to say the months ahead will be full of energy, growth, and connection. Whether you’re joining us online, meeting face-to-face, or simply cheering us on from afar, your involvement is what makes our community so special. Here’s to closing out the year with momentum and making every opportunity count—I can’t wait to see what we achieve together!
