IDA Awards Gala & Annual Business Meeting at Mobile Tech Expo 2026 in Orlando, Florida, United States
As we enter 2026, I want to start by saying thank you—for trusting me to lead the IDA this year. I don’t take that responsibility lightly.
I’d also like to extend a sincere thank you to Craig Brigham for helping get us to where we are today. His leadership throughout 2025 was impressive, and it was a privilege to work alongside him and see his vision in action.
Now, as we look ahead to 2026, we’re setting our sights high. Big goals. Big dreams. And while momentum matters, progress only happens when we plan for the future.
This year, we are continuing to update and upgrade the IDA website—making it easier to navigate and simpler for members to find the information they need. A major focus is the Learning Management System (LMS), which will be fully integrated into the site.
The LMS will streamline certifications and continuing education, reduce manual work behind the scenes, and create a better overall experience for our members. It’s a smart investment—one that lowers expenses while making the IDA more efficient, modern,
and attractive to both current and future members.
Our focus for 2026 is clear: Reduce expenses. Grow membership. Increase value.
To support these goals, we will closely monitor our finances, pursue new ways to grow membership, expand event sponsorships, significantly increase our presence on social media, and continue extending the IDA’s reach into other countries.
The mission remains simple: Grow the IDA. Grow our members. Elevate the industry.
I’m not a detailer—and that’s no secret. But I have been working in this industry for almost 30 years. I know this community, and I am fully committed to delivering the strongest possible version of the IDA—because you deserve it.
I’m accessible, and your voice matters. We cannot build an association for you without hearing from you.
Reach out. Share feedback. Get involved. Talk to any of us on the board or volunteer—there’s a place for you here.
Let’s get to work.
