Volunteer with the IDA

 

Get Involved

Make a difference for your business, your profession, and your professional organization.  Volunteer to serve on one of the IDA Committees.  Fill out the volunteer form and the Committee Chair will contact you with additional information.  If you are a member of an IDA Chapter, check with your chapter leadership for chapter-specific committee volunteer opportunities.


CERTIFICATION

The IDA Certification Committee governs the IDA Certification Program, sets guidelines for certification exam materials and processes, and develops and oversees implementation of new certification phases. You must be an IDA Certified Detailer to volunteer on this committee.

EVENTS & EDUCATION

The IDA Events & Education (formerly Tradeshow & Education) Committee facilitates IDA participation at various industry-related trade shows. The Committee also coordinates IDA University at tradeshows and training facilities, as well as development of webinars, the IDA podcast (Inside the IDA), and IDA Meet & Greets.

International Chapter Development

The IDA International Chapter Development Committee works to promote the international chapter program by facilitating the formation of new chapters and optimizing the engagement and results of existing chapters.
