The DetailingNearby.com glossary is intended to help educate consumers on technical terms that you may use in your daily work that they may not understand, especially with ever-evolving technology and new product innovations.  In order for them to feel informed and empowered (and like they are not being taken advantage of), it is important to be transparent about what terms mean and how they relate to the care of their vehicles.

Definitions should not include specific brand names or product names.  Each suggestion will be reviewed by representatives from the IDA Marketing & Communications Committee to determine if it will be added to the glossary.
