The International Detailing Association hosts a series of webinar presentations covering a variety of topics to help improve the knowledge and ability of IDA Members and Non-Members from the comfort of a home or office computer!  The webinars take place on the third Thursday of the month from February to November.

Bio: Joe DiFiore, CD-SV, has owned and operated a home-based auto detailing business for 31 years.  He has always considered himself a lifestyle detailer with his business choices aligned with life and personal beliefs.

Description: Setting an accurate rate for a detail shop is critical to achieve personal obligations and shop overhead.  This exercise provides useful information, which will help you determine how many production hours are needed to be worked in order to accomplish your goals in life and business.

Objectives:

1. Calculate an accurate shop rate.
   
2. Receive basic information to conduct a market study.
3. Determine how many production hours are needed to turn a profit.
   

Certified Detailers - Attending a webinar earns Certified Detailers 1 credit towards re-certification.

Technology - Attendance will require an internet connection and ability to connect to GoToMeeting.  Test your computer here.  The webinar connection information will be released one week before the event.

Cancellation Policy - There is limited space available for each webinar.  If you register but find that you are no longer able to attend the live webinar, please cancel your registration to free up space for others.  Members can always access the webinar recording from the Quick Links menu.  Please note: no refunds or cancellations within 48 hours of the event.

Price - Free for members and $25 for non-members.  Non-members who join within 30 days of the webinar may apply the registration fee to membership dues* (join the IDA here).
