Who Is Justin Krauss?Justin Krauss is known in the detailing industry as Justin the Supply Guy, but his story didn’t begin with distribution or consulting. It started behind a retail counter — selling detailing products, listening to customers, and learning what actually works in the real world. Over time, that experience grew into a hands-on detailing career, the launch of a professional ceramic coating and paint protection business, and eventually a role supporting detailers, dealerships, and shops across Colorado through Justin the Supply Guy and ImageFX. Day after day he heard the same frustrations — detailers struggling to get clear answers from suppliers, struggling to find the right products for their processes, and often left to figure things out on their own. That constant exposure to real-world detailing challenges eventually pushed him to move from selling products to doing the work himself. Launching a Detailing BusinessAfter gaining experience with products, tools, and customer needs, Justin opened his own professional detailing shop. He quickly built a reputation for quality work, efficient systems, and strong customer relationships. The focus was never just washing cars. It was building repeatable processes, training technicians, developing service packages, and delivering results that kept customers coming back. That work eventually led to an opportunity to join one of the most recognized coating networks in the industry. Ceramic Pro Elite DealerJustin’s shop became one of the first in the region to achieve Ceramic Pro Elite Dealer status, a designation requiring high levels of quality, service, and professionalism. Through that experience he became certified in multiple areas, including: Ceramic coating application He also earned two key credentials from the International Detailing Association: IDA Certified Detailer (CD) Operating a high-volume coating and paint protection shop provided valuable insight into workflow efficiency, technician training, and the importance of strong product support. From Detailer to Industry ResourceWith experience in retail, detailing, coatings, and business operations, Justin eventually shifted his focus toward helping other professionals succeed in the industry. Rather than simply selling products, the goal became providing something many detailers were missing — a supplier who actually understands how products work in the field. Someone who could: Help troubleshoot problems Today Justin works directly with professionals through Justin the Supply Guy while collaborating with ImageFX to provide access to trusted brands and product distribution. Still Hands-On Every DayEven as his role has evolved, Justin remains deeply involved in the day-to-day work of supporting detailers. He’s not just an owner or consultant. He’s often the person who: Mixes samples for customers With more than twenty years of experience in e-commerce and logistics, Justin also helps bring modern systems and national shipping capabilities to an industry that has traditionally been very local. A Passion for TrainingTraining and education have always been a major part of Justin’s work in the detailing industry. Over the years he has helped organize and host many training events covering topics such as: Paint correction techniques These events regularly attract detailers from across Colorado and beyond because the focus is always on improving real-world skills rather than simply selling products. Life Outside the ShopJustin lives in Fruita, Colorado, just west of Grand Junction. He’s a proud husband, father, and grandfather who enjoys spending time with his family whenever possible. Outside of work you’ll often find him: Camping with his family Like many people in the automotive and detailing industries, Justin believes the best balance comes from working hard and spending time outside when the opportunity comes up.
