We’re now headed into Q2 of 2021. Goals have been set and committees are hard at work, but we still need your help! Get in on the action and join an IDA committee today. Committees meet virtually once a month, and their work is vital to the continuation
of our programs, the implementation of new projects, and the forward momentum of the association as a whole. Familiarize yourself with each committee below, choose the one that best fits your own expertise and interests,
and
submit a volunteer interest form today.
Certification Committee
This committee governs the IDA Certification Program, sets guidelines for certification exam materials and processes, and develops and oversees implementation of new certification phases. (NOTE: You must be
an IDA Certified Detailer to volunteer on this committee.)

Chapter Development Committee
This committee works to promote the international Chapter program by facilitating the formation of new Chapters and optimizing the engagement, growth, and success of existing Chapters.

Marketing & Communications Committee
This committee oversees all communications (e-newsletter, e-blasts, website, and social media sites). This committee also develops and administers the IDA’s sponsorship and advertising programs.

Membership Committee
This committee spearheads membership recruitment and retention efforts and endeavors to constantly improve the member experience and add value and benefits to membership.

Tradeshow & Education Committee
This committee facilitates IDA participation at various industry-related trade shows. They also coordinate IDA University at tradeshows and training facilities, develops the monthly webinars, and plans other educational
offerings.
Want to share your skills and knowledge with the IDA, but you aren't quite ready to commit to a committee? Try one of our micro-volunteering opportunities! These are volunteer projects that won't take up much of your valuable
time but will still let you contribute to your professional association in a meaningful way. Opportunities include blog writing, video creation, presenting a webinar, staffing a tradeshow booth, and more. Give back
to your detailing community at your convenience!
