In case you missed it: New IDA Webinar Platform

Hello Detailers,

We have some exciting news regarding the IDA Webinar series! Starting with the IDA webinar on April 18 (register here) and moving forward, we will be using a new platform called Streamyard. When you successfully register (and submit payment for non-members*) for each session, you will receive an email containing access information to stream the webinar via a private YouTube link. Please note: this will be a private link for registrants only and it should NOT be shared with anyone.

Alternatively, the session will also be streamed directly to the IDA members-only Facebook Group (request to join here), and members can watch the stream from within the group.

Registration through the IDA website is still preferred and highly encouraged for each session. However, in the event that you forget or are unable to register in advance for a webinar, if you are a member of the exclusive IDA Facebook Group, you can log in to the group on the day of the session and watch the webinar from there without prior registration.

As always, if you are unable to attend a live webinar, members will still be able to access the webinar recording from the archives webpage within a week or so of the event.

Certified Detailers will still be responsible for checking in to the live webinar via the IDA website to receive 1 Certification Maintenance credit. IMPORTANT: If you do NOT register in advance but watch a webinar via the Facebook Group stream, you will need to manually input your credit into your online IDA Certification Journal.  Click here to watch the short video tutorial on how to manually input credits.

*Webinars are free for members and $25 for non-members. Non-members who join within 30 days of the webinar may apply the registration fee to membership dues (join the IDA here).
