Keith Duplessie, CD-SV, WC, RIT
Business Development Director, P&S Detail Products; Owner, Detail Plus Car Appearance Systems

Session Description:
Ever wonder if it makes sense to attend trade shows?  Hear from two well-seasoned veterans that have attended numerous shows both in the detailing world and other industries.  Hear about firsthand experiences and why you should be there.  They will cover why to go or not, how to prepare in the weeks leading up to shows, and how to get the most out of them after you return.

Speaker Bios:
Keith Duplessie is the Business Development Director for P&S Detail Products and the owner of Detail Plus Car Appearance Systems.  He is a founding member of the IDA, Founder's Club, and one of the original RITs for the IDA.  He has been in the industry for over 20 years.  He currently serves as the Scholarship Committee Chair for the IDA.  In his roles with P&S and Detail Plus, he helps his customers develop and grow their businesses by helping them improve processes, sales channels, and operational efficiencies.  He has been a featured speaker and exhibitor at trade shows around the globe, including the ICA, WCA, SWCA, SECWA, NECWA, NADA, Automechanika, and Middle East Cleaning Technology shows.

Jim Goguen has been a part of the detailing industry for over 34 years.  He was the first detailer in Massachusetts to pass both the Certified Detailer and hands-on Skills Validation tests from the IDA.  He has consistently built his business by focusing on providing the best service, skills, and products for his customers.  He markets his business the same way he runs his business: with confident humility, always wanting the best for his customers.  In 2007, Jim was selected as Restyler of the Year by Restyling Magazine.  He was also named Distributor of the Year by Auto Trim International.  Jim is part of the Detail Mafia and has participated numerous times in the Air Force One project, as well as other detailer outings that have gained national attention for the expertise and skills of high-level detailers.
