Share your detailing expertise for IDA's 3rd Annual International Education Day!

Hello IDA Members,

Planning is now underway for the 3rd Annual IDA International Education Day on Thursday, April 10, 2025, and we want you to be a part of this global celebration of sharing detailing knowledge!

The International Detailing Association (IDA) now has 20 chapters around the world – along with members in 77 countries – and it is an important part of our mission to make detailing-specific educational offerings available in as many languages as possible. With that in mind, we established International Education Day in 2023. We have since featured speakers who presented in languages such as Bulgarian, Dutch, French, German, Italian, Norwegian, Portuguese, and Spanish. Topics have covered everything from pricing to product safety to paint correction and more.

This year, we are planning slots for up to nine 50-minute virtual sessions. You are invited to share your detailing expertise as part of this global event, and we are particularly seeking members of IDA Chapters who are able to present in non-English languages (if you speak a non-English language and are located in the United States, you are also welcome to submit a proposal).

We will be able to accommodate a maximum of one English language session (from outside the United States). (If you are interested in offering an educational session in English, we strongly encourage you to consider submitting a proposal for a Third Thursday or Business Development webinar session.)

Sessions will be held virtually between 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Central Time. All sessions will be recorded for those who are not able to attend the live sessions and made available in the IDA webinar recording archive.

If interested, please submit a Speaker Proposal Form here (member login required) by Monday, March 3, 2025. All submissions will be reviewed by the IDA Tradeshow & Education Committee. Submitters will be notified of whether or not they have been selected to present by mid-March.

Submissions must include:

• Language of your presentation
• Title of your presentation (can be a working title) – include in the language of the presentation and the English translation
• Abstract/presentation summary – include in the language of the presentation and the English translation
• Speaker bio (3-6 sentences) and headshot/professional photo
• Your previous speaking experience, if applicable
