Dear IDA Members,

Are you a driver of change, or do you know a dedicated detailing professional? If so, the International Detailing Association wants you to submit a nomination for the IDA Board of Directors!

There are five Board seats available, three of which are held by current Board members who may be eligible to serve another term. Each opening is for a three-year term beginning January 1, 2021, and running through December 31, 2023.

Self-nominations are encouraged; you may also nominate a fellow IDA member who meets the below criteria.

To qualify to serve on the IDA Board of Directors, the nominee must:

  • have their current, primary employment be in the car wash & detailing industry and hold a current, paid membership in the IDA;
  • have actively served on an IDA Committee for a minimum of one year, and commit to continue actively serving on an IDA Committee moving forward throughout their Board term;
  • commit to attending monthly conference calls with fellow IDA Board members (currently the fourth Monday of the month at 12 noon Central time);
  • agree to attend one annual face-to-face IDA Board meeting at your own expense (2021 will be held on Wednesday, February 3rd in Orlando, FL, pending the ability to meet in-person);
  • agree to abide by the “Commitment to Serve” guidelines and the IDA Code of Ethics.

If you are ready to help drive the IDA forward, please submit your nomination by midnight Central time on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
