Our third survey is focused fully on leather-related terms. Members, check your email for the link to complete the survey; please review the given term and the definition, let us know if it is used in your country/region as noted, or – if not – give us your alternative term for
the given definition and/or alternative definition for the given term. This is NOT a test; we are simply collecting data on understanding and terminology used on a global scale. If you do not use (or know) a specific term for the situation in question, please leave the answer field blank.

The Industry Standards Task Force is looking for additional volunteers to lend their time and support to our efforts. The goal of the Industry Standards Task Force is to gather terminology differences within the detailing industry around the world, so

The Industry Standards Task Force has updated the Glossary of Detailing Terms webpage to include alternative terms used regionally and globally for the same definition,
but we are always seeking to improve our content and keep up to date with industry changes. If your country/region utilizes a different term for a defined word/phrase in the glossary, please submit your term variance for review and potential inclusion
in the Glossary of Detailing Terms via the Global Terminology Submission Form.
