New Standard Operating Procedure in the IDA Member Resource Section

Thursday, September 26, 2024   (0 Comments)

New Standard Operating Procedure Launched

The IDA Industry Standards Task Force is excited to announce that a new Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) has been added to the member resource page.

Our second SOP is “Interior Maintenance Detail Process”. This standard operating procedure was made possible by YOU, our IDA members! The Industry Standards Task Force’s last Global Survey compiled data about interior maintenance detail processes/preferences from IDA members in 14 countries; this data was then analyzed by the Task Force to create a baseline order of operations meant to consistently produce a quality result. Please remember, this is one proven order of operations widely agreed upon as best practice, but it is not the only way.

Check it out on the Standard Operating Procedures resource webpage! And, keep an eye out for the Task Force’s next Global Survey where we will continue to gather data from members worldwide on various aspects of detailing to continue adding to the new resource section. (Hint: coming soon, Global Survey #8: Soft-Tops!)

Check it out!
