IDA Webinar: Avoiding Burnout: Building a Business that Lasts
Date & Time: Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 12:00 pm CDT *RESCHEDULED*
Presented By: DJ Patterson Founder, EcoGreen Professional Detailing
Speaker Bio: DJ Patterson began his journey in the industry out of the trunk of a 1999 Ford Contour at 19 years old with no money and a pocket full of dreams. He quit his full-time salary-paying job to go detail cars with zero water – in Oklahoma of all places. Over the course of 12 years, DJ managed to build one of the largest detailing operations in his state. In 2020, DJ stepped into one of the highest industry leadership roles as the President of the International Detailing Association, in which he served for two years. He still serves on the IDA Board. DJ continues to use his detailing business experience and industry leadership experience to help other detailers win in life and in business. Session Description: Burnout is inevitable in business, especially in the business of detailing. There is a theory that your mind and body can do more rested at 100% working LESS hours than it can running on fumes at 50% working MORE hours. DJ will offer advice from over a decade of experience at all levels of a detailing business owner – from running the ENTIRE business alone, to growing into one of the largest operations in his state and all the roadblocks and learning experiences along the way. If you want to build a business that lasts, you first need to understand how to avoid burnout.
